SINGFest 2008! // Fort Canning Park

Priced at over a Hundred Dollar ticket, i got for FREE!

Unfortunately, it was held on a day when i'll be having a test the next day.

Though i wanted to give up on the ticket, i picked myself up cos i realy dun wan to miss the event. Never heard of Music festival and i wondered how grand would it be ... I'm gald i didn miss it!

I literally brought my Property Maintenance papers to study!

Should be there early, but i was bit and restless (imagine when i laid on bed to study for hours). so we decided to make a time when June is possible and before the act from 'Simple Plan'. THat was the first day of performance lasting for 2 days, starting from early evening till midnight.

we have... melee at 630, simpleplan 850, and travis 1030 on that day! we skipped melee as stated.

More abt the Park scenic view! i love it alot, a park just a short walk behind Park Mall on level 4. its never the normal park u walk ard in ur suburb. i saw white building classically built like its meant to be like some kind of memorial building. didn bother to understand, but it was great view looking at it from the top. a short climb, we reached the entrance bounded by a concrete wall attached an open gate. Inside is where the event is held. WE GOT THE TICKETS!!!

I will participate in this Festival again, definately. Looking at the lovable bands to just one concert is Marvelous, i should really admire the organisers. Thanks Nokia, Starhub and other main sponsor for this event too... cos i got theticket from June who is currently for Nokia (Proudly!).

OH WAIT!!!! AND WE SAW these celebrities UPCLOSE...

- IRENE ANG and her friends again, JEAN DANKER from 987, FIONA XIE and her friends. Audiences were 70% westerner, how HOT this event can be!!!

I was standing behind the VIP corner, these celebrities were right in front of mi. Susprisingly, no one is fighting a chance to take pics with them cos the audiences were eyeing the stage. While we take no chance to push ourselve down near the stage, squeezing is boring when we can have the luxury of standing anywhere ard the four corner of VIP corner, looking at Celebrities and the stage directly with a great view.

Sunday performances include pussycat dolls! stacie orrico! one republic! panic at the disco! jason mraz! alicia keys! ahhhhhhhhh =( which we are not allowed

but since our tix are free, its better than nothing i guess?
