Shatec- a brand new look.

Its time, it really is. This building is dilapidated. Nobody would know that this ‘quite’ a well known institution would be located along with the other factories in the industrial estate. But its all changing and diversifying…

I guess that our new CEO has done a tremendous work in the upgrading amidst all the up-keeping work he has to do. Hmm… not only he is capable, and he has great built and looks too. Knew he would do something to the school, but I never knew it would be that fast. Without a PA system in our school, to convey messages, he volunteered to pay a visit to each class to announce as well as to know us as student in the school better. He came twice in one semester.

Let us see what have changes overtime since he steps in….

1) Rules & REgulaion (still as shitty as ever)

- Previously
Less than 30 min late for class – 0.5 Demerit points
More than 30 mins late for class- 1 DP
- Now
Less than 30 min – 1 DP
More than 30min – 5 DP
Hello!!! We only have a limit of 20 DP for the entire duration of 2 theoretical lessons.

2) Changing of school logo/ website

3) Modification/Elimination of irrelevant/obsolete modules

- Such as combine English grammer, English compre , English writing skill into 1 or 2 module(s)

4) Test/Exam format

-use of OAS paper
- Standardized paper layout of questions

AND NOW>>>>>

5)Elimination of wearing uniform

- Starting next term, not required to wear U
- Business wear or semi-formal

6) Shifting school location

- Located in Toa payoh (I think its using another factory as school again)
- Double the current size
- Opening next year December (not our batch. SADDED)

Just glad that someone has took over and decide to do positive changes to it. I really dread studying here cos the environment sucks big time since I step in 2007.
